Suspended high above the Mumbai skyline, Three Sixty West is a full-floor residence designed to balance grandeur with intimacy. At 16,000 sq ft, it caters to the multigenerational lifestyle of Indian families, seamlessly translating the spirit of expansive estates into vertical city living. Dieter Vander Velpen Architects shaped the layout from scratch, creating a home equally suited to large gatherings and private rituals.
From the sculptural bronze entry doors to panoramic skyline views, every sightline is carefully choreographed. Monumental gestures, like a Calacatta Viola fireplace, sit alongside tactile details in wood, stone, and bronze, while pocket doors and custom joinery allow spaces to shift effortlessly between openness and privacy. Indoor gardens act as natural connectors, with retractable windows and limestone flooring blurring the boundaries between inside and out.
A restrained palette of oak, walnut, plaster, and bronze grounds the interiors, enriched by deep reds, earthy browns, and muted greens. The result is a home where richness and restraint coexist, an immersive luxurious sanctuary in the heart of Mumbai.
